About MandelKit

MandelKit began with a simple fascination: the same compact formula can reveal an effectively endless landscape, but the tool used to explore it should still feel immediate and precise.

A native instrument for an infinite subject

MandelKit combines numerical rendering with a focused creative interface. It is designed for direct exploration on Apple devices, for preserving exact regions, and for exporting results from screen size to exceptionally large print-ready dimensions.

Built around clarity, performance and ownership

The renderer should reveal detail instead of hiding numerical limits behind artifacts. Controls should make their active state legible. Saved work belongs to the user, and public sharing is an explicit copy with a clear visibility choice.

Created by Björn Kindler

MandelKit is designed and developed by Björn Kindler in Unterhaching, Germany. The app, website and public-region format are developed together so a shared region can remain understandable across versions.
